The delicious flavor of bagels has been known in Krakow for almost 700 years. Since the sixteenth century, only Krakow bakers could produce and sell bagels, according to the will of the king. Initially baked on special occasions, they quickly found their way into everyday production and still enjoy extreme popularity.
This local delicacy is one of the most important culinary attractions for tourists and foreign guests. Since 2010, the Krakow bagel has been a product with protected geographical indication in the European Union. We are pleased to announce that we were one of the first and few producers in Krakow to have received a PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) certificate.
We recommend our traditional bagels with five types of topping: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, salt, cheese or a blend of spices. We also offer crunchy pretzels and finger rolls, known as a light, nutritious snack in Europe since the Middle Ages.
